The Farm
Diary
The Farm
We have at Mahorall150 acres of varying landscapes including open pasture, woodland, orchards and a 15 acre Shropshire Wildlife Trust site.
We have been able to date the farm back to before 1650 and the landscape still retains many interesting historical features such as buildings, hedgerows and ancient oak trees.
We have over 100 apples tres mainly in two old orchards on the farm which indicate the importance of apples in past years for both eating and making cider.
We have tried to continue this characteristic feature of this area by establishing a new orchard and be replacing the older trees that have been since lost.
Free Nature Trail
We have created a free nature trail along one of our favourite routes around the farm that includes our wildlife site and also the possibility of seeing our 3 Exmoor Ponies. Click on the nature trail link below to find out more.
