Mahorall Farm Mulled Cider

Many years ago we wanted to offer a special hot cider to serve to customers at the Christmas festivals we attend. We came up with a recipe similar to a mulled wine in appearance and also with the christmas spices. We went further and by adding our own damson and elderberry juice to give the flavour real depth. To lighten it up slightly and to give added body we use orange juice. It is 4% abv.The result has been very popular indeed and we hear the comment so often that we are the main reason that people have come to the show! We now can offer 50cl bottles which are all ready mixed for you to be able to drink in the comfort of your home.

Directions for use at home.

All you need to do is to pour the required amount into a pan and warm it up to 60C. Use a thermometer in the pan to achieve the right temperature. If you do not have a thermometer please ensure it it is hot but do not let it boil!

Please consider that a mulled drink is usually served as a similar amount to a coffee or tea. Only warm up a small amount for each person. The bottle has a screw cap so can be sealed and kept in a fridge for up to 5 days.
